Most of these
documents are highly controversial. As always, New Horizons does not
promote or condone any of the views expressed, nor does it take
sides on whether the documents (e.g. “The Protocols”) are
authentic or hoaxes. Our speakers often refer to them; therefore,
it‘s important that we inspect the documents, ourselves.

Engineering_of_consent

“The Engineering of Consent” – Edward L. Bernays
In ‘The Engineering of Consent’,
Edward Bernays – “the father of PR” – defines “engineering
consent” as the art of manipulating people; specifically, the
American public, who are described as “fundamentally irrational
people... who could not be trusted.” It maintained that entire
populations, which were undisciplined or lacking in intellectual or
definite moral principles, were vulnerable to unconscious influence
and thus susceptible to want things that they do not need. This was
achieved by linking those products and ideas to their unconscious
desires.

Conspiracy Theories |
“Conspiracy Theories” (Cass R. Sunstein) and
U.S. Government infiltration into “extremist groups”... i.e. like us!
Cass Robert Sunstein is an American legal scholar who
currently is the
Administrator of the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs
in the Obama administration.
He co-authored the infamous 2008 paper entitled, “Conspiracy Theories”, dealing with the risks and possible government
responses to conspiracy theories.
They wrote, “The existence of
domestic and foreign conspiracy theories is no trivial matter,
posing real risks to the government’s antiterrorism policies.”
“Government agents (and their allies) might
enter chat rooms, online social networks, or even real-space groups and attempt
to undermine conspiracy theories by raising doubts about their facts, logic or implications for political action.”
“The Government might ban conspiracy
theorizing; or impose some kind of tax, financial or
otherwise, on those who disseminate such theories.”

Corporate
Crime in the Pharmaceutical Industry
|
“Corporate Crime in the Pharmaceutical Industry”
– Dr John Braithwaite
The sordid behaviour of today’s pharmaceutical
corporations has been further demonstrated by , now a Trade Practices
Commissioner, in his devastating exposé, “Corporate Crime In The
Pharmaceutical Industry”.
International bribery and corruption, fraud in the
testing of drugs, criminal negligence in the unsafe manufacture of drugs –
the pharmaceutical industry has a worse record of law-breaking than any other
industry. Describing many examples of corporate crime, which shows the depth
and seriousness of the crime problem in the pharmaceutical industry, Dr
Braithwaite’s revealing study is based on extensive international research,
including interviews of 131 senior executives of pharmaceutical companies in
the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Mexico and Guatemala. The
book shows how pharmaceutical multinationals defy the intent of laws regulating
safety of drugs by bribery, false advertising, fraud in the safety testing of
drugs, unsafe manufacturing processes, smuggling and international law evasion
strategies.
At the time of researching the subject, Braithwaite
was a Research Criminologist at the Australian Institute of Criminology and a
Fulbright Fellow affiliated to the University of California, Irvine and the
United Nations Center on Trans-national Corporations.

Silent
War against Humanity
|
“Silent War Against Humanity” – author unknown
Experience has proven that the simplest method of
securing a silent weapon and gaining control of the public is to keep the
public undisciplined and ignorant, while keeping them confused, disorganized,
and distracted with matters of no real importance.
This is achieved by: (1) Disengaging their minds,
sabotaging their mental activities, by providing a low quality programme of
public education in mathematics, logic, systems design, and economics, and by
discouraging technical creativity. (2) Engaging their emotions, increasing
their self-indulgence and their indulgence in emotional and physical
activities, by way of a constant barrage of sex, violence, and wars in the
media; giving them what they desire – in excess – “junk food for thought”
and depriving them of what they really need; and rewriting history and law.
The general rule is that there is profit in
confusion: the more confusion, the more profit. Therefore, the best approach is
to create problems and then offer the solutions.

War is a
Racket
|
“War Is a Racket” – Major General Smedley D.
Butler.
“War Is a Racket” is the title of two works, a
speech and a booklet, by retired United States Marine Corps Major General and
two time Medal of Honor recipient, Smedley D. Butler.
In the works, Butler frankly discusses from his
experience as a career military officer how business interests commercially
benefit from warfare. He points to a variety of examples, mostly from World War
I, where industrialists whose operations were subsidised by public funding were
able to generate substantial profits essentially from mass human
suffering.

2083
– A European Declaration of Independence
|
2083 – “2083: A European Declaration of
Independence” – Anders Behring Breivik
Writing with the pseudonym ‘Andrew Berwick’, Anders
Behring Breivik penned a 1,516-page manifesto entitled “2083: A European
Declaration of Independence” – a reference to the unsuccessful second
Ottoman siege of Vienna in 1683 – which he e-mailed to 5,700 people just
hours before the attacks.
In the manifesto, which is part political discussion,
part confessional, and part action plan, Breivik sets out his belief that his
actions will help to spark a civil war in Europe that will last for decades,
progressing through three distinct phases and culminating in 2083 with the
extermination of European Marxists and the expulsion of Muslims from Europe. In
the manifesto, Berwick-Breivik describes his background and discusses his
political viewpoints.
The introductory chapter of the manifesto defining ‘Cultural
Marxism’ is a copy of “Political Correctness: A Short History of an
Ideology” by the Free Congress Foundation. The text also copies sections of
the Unabomber manifesto, without giving credit, while exchanging the words “leftists”
for “cultural Marxists” and “black people” for “muslims”. The
pamphlet also quotes from Jeremy Clarkson’s Sunday Times column as well as
Melanie Phillips’ Daily Mail column.

The
Secret Covenant
|
“The Secret Covenant of the Jewish Secret Society
Known As the Order of the Illuminati” – author unknown
Like “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion”, “The
Secret Covenant” may be an anti-Semitic hoax purporting to describe a Zionist
plan for global domination.
Once more, putting aside whether the document is a hoax
or not, it does give a fascinating – albeit cynical – view on how an elite
could control the world’s population.
The text argues that the world is part of an illusion so
vast it escapes the perception of all but those who have wielded power for
their dark benefit. Their goal is accomplished one drop at a time so as to
never bring suspicion upon themselves.
They work together and always remain bound by blood and
secrecy. They keep the life-spans of humanity short and minds weak while
pretending to do the opposite. They use knowledge of science and technology in
subtle ways so humanity never sees what is happening. The poisons are hidden in
what we drink, eat, breathe and wear. They teach that the poisons are good,
with advertising using fun images and hypnotic musical tones.
When our ability to learn has been affected, they create
medicine that will make us sicker and cause other diseases for which They
create yet even more medicine. They render us docile and weak before their
power. We grow depressed, slow and obese, and when we go to them for help they
give us more poison. They focus our attention toward money and material goods
so we many never connect with our inner self. They distract us with
fornication, external pleasures and games so we may never be one with the
oneness of it all.
They use fear as a weapon. They establish governments
and establish oppositions within them. They own both sides. We perform labour
for them and they prosper from our toil. They make us kill each other when it
suits them. They always hide the divine truth from us, that we are all one.
This we must never know! We must never know that colour is an illusion, we must
always think we are not equal. Drop by drop, drop by drop they advance their
goal. They take over our land, resources and wealth to exercise total control
over us. They deceive us into accepting laws that will steal the little freedom
we have. They establish a money system that imprisons us forever, keeping us
and our children in debt.
The illusion is so grand, the illusion is of
freedom, something we will never know – we are their slaves. The reality they
have created for us is our prison. We live in self-delusion.
